Canada's flagship permanent residency program. We optimize your CRS score and guide you through every draw, every document, every step.
Express Entry is the Canadian government's online system for managing applications for permanent residence under three federal economic immigration programs. It is one of the fastest pathways to Canadian permanent residency, with many applications processed in as few as six months.
The system uses a points-based Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) to rank candidates. Those with the highest scores receive Invitations to Apply (ITAs) during regular draws. Alfalah's consultants work with you to maximize your CRS score and identify the right moment to submit your profile.
For skilled workers with foreign work experience who meet the requirements for education, language ability, and skilled work experience.
For skilled workers who have Canadian work experience and want to become permanent residents.
For workers who are qualified in a skilled trade and have an offer of employment or a certificate of qualification.
We evaluate your education, work experience, language scores, and other factors to estimate your CRS score.
We help you create and submit a strong Express Entry profile in the IRCC portal.
We identify opportunities — Provincial Nomination, language improvement, education credentials — to boost your ranking.
When you receive an ITA, we prepare and submit a complete, accurate permanent residence application on your behalf.

CRS cut-off scores vary per draw. A provincial nomination adds 600 CRS points.
Understanding why applications are refused helps you avoid the same pitfalls. Our consultants review every detail before submission to minimize your risk.
Submitting an application after an ITA is fine — but profiles that sit in the pool without reaching cut-off scores never receive an invitation.
Inconsistencies between declared work experience or language scores and the supporting documents trigger immediate concern from officers.
A condition deemed to cause excessive demand on Canadian health or social services can bar an otherwise strong applicant.
False statements about education, employment, or language — including padding hours or fabricating credentials — are serious grounds for refusal and may result in a multi-year ban.
Language test scores, ECA reports, and job offers each carry validity periods. Submitting with an expired document results in refusal.
Convictions in any country that are equivalent to a serious Canadian offence can bar entry even if the sentence was served years ago.

No. A job offer is not mandatory for Express Entry, and as of March 25, 2025 IRCC no longer awards CRS points for a job offer. A job offer still supports eligibility under the Federal Skilled Worker and Federal Skilled Trades programs and many PNP streams, and IRCC has signalled a possible targeted reintroduction of job-offer points for high-wage occupations.
Most complete applications are processed within approximately 6 months after receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) (as of June 2026). Processing times can vary based on application complexity.
CRS cut-off scores vary with each draw. Scores above 470 are generally competitive (as of June 2026), but lower scores can succeed through Provincial Nominee Program nominations or other CRS-boosting factors.
Yes. Express Entry is open to eligible applicants both inside and outside Canada.
