Student Visa

Pursue Canada

Foreign Nationals can come to Canada to pursue an education at a designated learning institution of their choice. In order to do this, you must apply for and be admitted to a designed learning institution, following which you must apply to the IRCC for a study permit.

Requirements

All successful applicants will be issued a study permit for the duration of their study program and an additional 90 days, this time will allow you to apply for an extension if needed or prepare to leave Canada.

Who can apply for a study permit?

You must be enrolled at one of the designated learning institutions.

You must provide proof that you have sufficient funds to cover the study costs

You must obey the law and have no previous criminal record (a police certificate may be required from applicants from some countries).

You must be in good health and you may be required to submit to a medical exam (for applicants from some countries).

You must prove to an officer that you will leave Canada once your study permit expires.
